Pesticide Action Network (PAN) An international citizens' action network founded in 1982, five centers world-wide. Mission: to link local and international consumer, labor, health, environment and agriculture groups together to challenge the global proliferation of pesticides, defend basic rights to health and environmental quality, and work to ensure the transition to a just and viable food system.

European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) Set up by the EU in 2002 to be a source of scientific advice and communication on risks associated with the food chain.
