Citizens for a Green Camden Founded in 2008.
Mission: to eliminate the use of toxic chemicals on Camden's lawns through educating citizens about safe, affordable, and readily available alternative products and practices.
Friends of Casco Bay Founded in 1989, based in South Portland.
Mission: to improve and protect the environmental health of Casco Bay. Programs include the Baykeeper, Water Quality Monitoring, advising on how to keep pesticides out of the bay (called bayscaping), working in the schools, and boat pumpout.
Maine Beekeepers Association Founded in 1976, chapters throughout the state.
Mission: to promote education in matters related to bees and beekeeping. Publishes a bi-monthly newsletter, The Bee Line.
Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA) Founded in 1971, based in Unity; the oldest and largest state organization focusing on the organic issue in the country.
Mission: to educate about and advocate for organic agriculture, illuminating its interdependence with a healthy environment, local food production, and thriving communities.
Portland Pollinator Partnership Founded in 2014, hosted by Bayside Neighborhood Association.
Mission: to protect and increase pollinator habitat in Portland through education, community partnerships, and local projects.

Maine Board of Pesticides Control Located within the Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry, Augusta. Provides public education, technical information and assistance regarding pesticides, including the Yardscaping program.
